[Changwon = Newsis] Reporter Hong Jeong-myeong – The Gyeongnam Center for Creative Economy and Innovation announced on the 6th that it recently held the '2023 Startup Leap Package Achievement Sharing Event' in collaboration with the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, the Korea Startup Promotion Agency, and Gyeongnam Province.
The 'Startup Leap Package' is a program designed to help startups in the growth phase (companies aged 3 to 7 years) overcome the so-called "valley of death" caused by sluggish sales and lack of funding, enabling them to leap forward.
Participating companies presented the achievements generated through the 2023 Startup Leap Package program, with a focus on their project execution results, growth strategies, and investment potential.
In the category of outstanding project performance, the Grand Prize was awarded to Humeal Co., Ltd. (CEO Kim Kyeong-hwan), while the Excellence Award went to Code of Nature Co., Ltd. (CEO Park Jae-hong), Nature Mobility Co., Ltd. (CEO Lee Ju-sang), and GSF System Co., Ltd. (CEO Seo Min-sung).
Kim Kyeong-hwan, CEO of Humeal Co., Ltd., the Grand Prize winner, stated, "Through the 2023 Startup Leap Package, we received not only commercialization funds but also support from specialized programs such as the IP/Certification Challenge Lab and Global Challenge Lab. These helped us enhance our business technologies, acquire patents, and expand into global markets."
He added, "I hope that, even after this achievement-sharing event, follow-up programs such as networking events for beneficiary and graduate companies will be actively organized."
